The signal whip by David Morgan is often considered as the "classic" one. David Morgan produced thousands of them during the last decades. A small (3ft/8plt), quite heavy whip made of natural tan kangaroo hide, shot-loaded for easier cracking. Normally, the cracker is braided in. This whip was modified by forming a loop out of the worn cracker for easy attachment/replacement of a new one. This affects the precision less than expected.
