This riding crop is made of steel-lined cane with a finely braided overlay and a silver, hallmarked handle with the initials GH and a crown stamped in the end plate.
This must have belonged to some peer or wealthy person. Unfortunately, the silver handle is partially broken. Dated around Biedermeier era. |
