Karaka stockwhip
This is an all-weather stockwhip (patent pending!) by Karaka Whips / New Zealand (see Links), made for use under harsh conditions. The wooden handle is balanced by a cast-in lead weight. The thong is a hollow length of special polyamide fabric, folded inwards and shot-loaded on the butt end, with replaceable nylon fall and cracker. Not intended for precision targeting and sports whipcracking, but for daily use on the ranch. (05/28/2004)
