Leather sewn crop (mounted police?)
Thick, heavy riding crop with a very flexible end. Although a bit brittle, the whip is still complete and in one piece. A stamp on the wrist strap reads "Kaspar Roth Altenburg S.A. 1917". Another stamp shows a crown and the code Ke21. It may be a police or military issue of the former duchy Altenburg/Saxony. (02/17/2004)
